I'm with you on this one Cole, this is my first sports car and I've always been into cars since forever, I believe in earning power and skill, this car is the first rung on the ladder for handling wise, I feel a GT, WRX etc all are on the next rung

I don't see it as "earning" something. It's just simply my opinion that I'm not using the car for what it's made for. There really aren't too many great roads around me, and the ones that are close to me, are heavily patrolled by police. So I could go and have a scenic drive, but I have to stick to the limit. I have a really great back road near me that's about 5km of tight turns and long, sweeping turns that are great to hit around 80kmh, but I'm always worried about being a little over the limit, especially when there's some traffic around. So, something more comfortable with better creature comforts is high on my priority list since I just don't have the time to go to the track or autox because of my work schedule in the summer.

Ah... I guess that's where we differ, me and my friends now all the affectionately called Pennsyltucky backroads near us with tight corners and such a mustang wouldn't totally be great for. However the new ones are changing my mindset now with the IRS in the rear

That is the end of the story.
Oh, sure! Next thing you'll be telling us it that the FR-S/BRZ/GT-86 will stay with a front engine configuration instead going to a mid-engine layout like the next Corvette.

Mid engine, AWD with a hydrogen fuel cell power plant according to my buddy that delivers Coke to the cafeteria at the Toyota tech center.

I actually heard from a guy online that once drew a Toyota-like car for an anime program (and therefore has an "in" with the higher-ups at Toyota) that it will be mid-engine, FRONT wheel drive. As a result the FR-S will be renamed the MF-S.

I heard from my very close janitor friend who works in the Toyota corporate building that the next generation FT-86 will have a nuclear fusion reactor for the engine and will only be available as a pickup or van.

It will also only be front wheel drive.

Ohhhh dude, there is no way they can add the S to the end of that if FWD. At best it is a MF-Se.

Should see the 2017 86 release and specs in January/February. So not too long to go.

Nope. Not official ones anyway. When did we see the official specs for the 16s?
