I got a chance to work on the car with the center exit diffuser again this weekend, so I took some extra pics. He came over for a header/overpipe installation, and I added some more support to the rear of the exhaust since there was none originally.

Here's a video from my car in action at VIR. I still don't have this microphone thing nailed down. Sorry speakers.

That license plate is seriously just "L"?!?!?

I dig the fab work, not too keen on cutting the bumper myself, but like how the exhaust exits from the diffuser.

lol, yes his license plate is just a single letter. Apparently it messes with the local toll roads and he gets a bunch of toll fees that aren't his.

Very much so. The only bracing you really need is the stuff already there

I like that diffuser a lot. Even if I would much rather have the exhaust exiting at the top of it.

Like on my car :

Small Update:

I decided to do a bit of maintenance on my car over the past couple days. Even though my car is running great, it's just shy of 75k miles so I decided to do a couple things:

- Replace the belt tensioner. I don't know that there was an issue with my original one, but I wanted to rule it out as being the cause of my belt jumping on hard acceleration. The problem was, that after the SC and Perrin water pump pulley, my belt would jump off a single rib on the water pump and crank, but remaining aligned everywhere else.

- Install a fresh crank bolt. I have had my stock bolt out twice (once for a Perrin LWCP and a second time when I swapped that for a Fluidampyr). After retorquing it twice, I decided it was a necessary replacement.

- Install Raceseng V2 idler pulleys. I picked them up off a forum member for cheap, so now was as good a time as any since the belt was already off for the tensioner.

- Replace the plugs. Nearing 75k with 10k of that boosted, and a lot of hard driving, I figured it was time.

- Compression test. While the plugs were out, I figured it made sense. Unfortunately my Braille didn't like cranking the car over too much. So I made it through two cylinders before it died. I'm sitting at 185/185/180/190. I'd expect everything to be fine as the car has been running great, but this was a sure way to know.

- Install AEM Failsafe. I will finish this up tonight. I've got the sensor in and the gauge in its vent pod. Just need to wire it up.

The local Sheetz gas stations have started to carry E85 so I am working on making the switch. I've got pump and injectors here. Next it to piece together a flex fuel setup. There are a lot of options on the market, but at the price, I think I can save some money and build it to fit my exact wants.

Another busy weekend! I had a car in for Ohlins and RPF1s, another car in for a front lip, another car in to upgrade his SBD Kit with the OFT350 parts, a Cosworth car for a catch can and Whiteline bushings all around, and finally some me time for the boost gauge and subframe bushings. And a last minute Nameless AxleBack that I scored for a price so good I had to get it.

Did you find the Delicious Tuning tune for the Edelbrock SC to be worth the money compared to the supplied CARB tune?

The Delicious tune has been great for me, even on track with no major knock events. I can't really make any similar comments on the CARB tune given that I drove it for a very short while, and with parts installed that are considered incompatible with the supplied tune.

I will say, the car drove fine for me on the CARB tune. It did have a CEL due to my header, which was expected.

But to answer your question, yes, in my personal situation the DT flash was the way to go. If you're on factory header and need CARB compliance, it may be totally different for you.
