I feel your pain bro. But do you know how to replace them yourself? Finch told me how to do it and it helped me out immensely.

Send me a tutorial, please. Honestly, I'm ready to replace all of them with upgraded studs. I just need to get through this track day. After that, I'll redo them all myself.

Oh, and the funny part is, I have three spare wheel studs. "Why?" you ask. Because I've already replaced five of the stupid fuckers. On top of that, I have about 15 spare nuts.

@finch1750

The great and wise finch helped me out last time. Its actually fairly simple and took me no more than 20 minutes to complete. All you have do to is take off your rotors and you can bang out the old studs and then pull the new studs in. You need several things in order to do this.

you need;

Large nut (one that will fit over the new stud but wont thread)
Use this lug nut with 2 washers that fit over the threads but do not thread onto the stud.
Then you will need a open ended lug nut. Or any kind of nut that is open ended and fits the threads perfectly.

It should go like this;
Place the new stud in and make sure the teeth line up.
Place the washer, larger nut, washer and then open ended lug nut.
Then tighten the open ended nut, the bigger nut and washers should hold in place while the open ended nut that you're tightening will pull the stud in to place.

I am on my work computer so I can't find the video I used to help explain this. But shoot me a PM if you have any questions.

Goodluck!

Pretty much what @MisterSheep said except i used a stack of 6-8 washers instead of the washer nut washer method he used. you may have to rotate the hub to get the studs in on the rear but stock ones fit through without removing the hub. PM me if you need any help.

I stripped 3 myself and replaced them like that. I have ARP but havent put them in yet since Ive been lazy and you need to remove the hub.

heres the DIY, just use the washer instead of the press.

Painted! I wanted to get them painted by MemoryFab, but they recently closed their paint shop. Powder coating 17-year-old wheels doesn't sound smart to me

Does anyone know if that feature in Gran Turismo 6 ever went live where you could take GPS data from a drive and import it into the game and it would create a track out of it?
