I don't like feeling like I'm going to submarine out of my seat because my knees aren't supported.
well if ya can get comfortable, then that is all that counts! i am 5' 8" and "fat"
but screw it! i find a way to get comfortable! i drop the seat all the way down,
and practically drive the car from the back seat! kinda "screwy" but it works for me...just sayin'

Lol i just figured out that if i slide my seat back a little more, it kinda helps with the problem.
Since I've only had the car for like 3 days, I'll grant myself a month to adjust then make appropriate changes (like possibly a short shifter)

Not in the slightest. It feels like the car was designed for me. It's a perfect fit

Hey new here.
Curious of anyone had done any mods for this issue I myself need the rake on the seat for comfort of driving and for greater cluch control.
I was thinking of mounting the rails on angled steel blocks wondering if it's legal and safe just a few degrees is all that's needed really don't really wanna modify the cushion on the seat.

Bad idea, the rails could bind and the seat assembly as a whole is compromised safety wise as the airbags, seatbelt pretensioner could deploy too early or too late when they are designed to deploy in a certain way. I would say to avoid doing that. But do what you want.

For a tall driver with long legs the stock seats SUCK, upgrading to a Recaro and getting as much rake with brackets as possible is the correct answer. I've yet to find a stock mass manufactured vehicle (in my price range, <$30k) that has proper seat fitment from the factory.
