Which tires?

Hello everyone, just bought a 2013 gt86 and it needs tires "badly" what would you recommend for "all rounders" and something that I wouldn't have to sell a kidney for. Thanks in advance. I also need to do a bit of maintenance on it "cheaply" I guess change oil, spark plugs and filters.

Thanks Atticus, that link is massive. I was looking at the original 16 inch Micheline's but peeps were complaining about them, I prefer Pirelli but turns out I'd have to sell a lung, what about Yokohama anyone try those?

How many km are on your car? You should have to change the spark plugs yet. As for an oil change, any 0w20 should work fine with an OEM oil filter.

To give you some real advise look into Nitto Invos. I run those and they are a great all around tire. You have to get them in 225/45R 17

Good reason to change them is "because you can".

With the high mileage that people get out of plugs, its not uncommon to have plugs that refuse to come out of an aluminum head when people do get around to changing them. With the way the boxer is packaged, it would be an engine out job at minimum.

35k on it, 0w20 5 liters, oil filter on top with these cars, too easy.

Thanks, the ones I have now are 16 inch, do you think I can fit 17 inch on the same rims? ( sorry for the dumb questions but bear with me)

Nope. And the smallest size you can get is the 225/45R/17 for those tires so I guess they are out. You should buy some 17inch OEM rims, lota people sell them cheap and they even come with rubber most of the time.

Jesus... Engine job to remove sparks? Only if they stuck tho right? It has 35k, but previous owner did a bit of drifting with it.

He's clearly in Europe or Asia, so I don't know if buying the OEM 17s will be cheap for him. 16s are OEM for a lot of GT86s.
