In all seriousness though they do look great. Especially in that color combination.

Seeing the Allegerittas on the car tempts me to want to declare these wheels, in combination with some RCE springs, the ideal "default" upgrade for this car.

Oh believe me, RCE springs are high on my priority list. That wheel gap is atrocious! I loved their packages for the STI and will probably go with one when they have it all sorted out. I trust they will come up with an ideal solution to even out the look of the car while taking the handling to the next level.

Maaaannnn, I knew someone was gonna do it. I've been eyeing those Alleggerita HLT in gold for a LONG time...but now that I see it I don't like it as much as I thought I would. Whilst I agree with you on the 17" wheels in theory, in practice I think I'm going to go with 18". Less wheel gap and less drop required. A light enough 18 and you'll only gain weight per corner due to tires. Blue and gold always looks good though

Hub bore is 56.1.

Have my HLT in the garage waiting on the car. Ordered first day...

Looks fantastic! Function over style and form, they are a light wheel that seems well matched for the car.

xclusive_brett, the wheels came with hub rings and a warning sticker to not forget about them when trying to shove the donut on at night, in a ditch, in the rain

Damn that is beautiful. Love the choice of wheels, and you kept it 17. That should open up pretty much any performance tire to you.

I would love to see these on a dark gray metallic.

Were you able to move over the TPMS? I am assuming you are using the OEM tires as well?

Yup, TPMS moved right over. OEM tires are showing a little stretch on 7.5" rims.

Good to know they were able to move the TPMS over, will save some monies there.

What is the impact of stretching the tire to 7.5 inch rims? Does it compromise it?

Hub bore is 56.1.
Wheel gap and drop height will be exactly the same assuming you get the right tire size...

The stretch is very small. While I can't say for sure, there should be no impact. With more extreme stretches, you start compromising your grip by deforming the contact patch.

I never liked the looks of the Alleggerita, they look smaller than they really are.
They are very light and strong but there are better looking and still high quality and light wheels.

Sure, rays, advan and ssr make nice wheels but they are so expensive and unavailable. I think if price was no object, I'd have gone with Advan RS's in the same size but man, $650/wheel and 4 months waiting. My wheels arrived in 3 days from tirerack for half the price! I'll take a slightly smaller looking wheel all day.
