And +33 Front and +40 Back is the recommended setup?

It depends on how you want it to look. Also depends on how wide the wheels are. An 8in wide wheel at +35 offset will sit differently than a 9in wide wheel with same offset. Stock wheels are 17x7 with an offset of +48 just so you get an idea.

Would 225/40/18 or 235/40/18 be best for 18x8.5 +33 front wheels?

This looks great! No denying that! Many people I talk to tell me that when they lower and go to 18's the steering slows down and the car isn't as "quick through the turns as far as feeling goes. Would you recommend your suspension and tire/wheel setup to someone using this car for an aggressive street car? Did it lose it's good OEM feel?

Thanks

it's been so long since i had an OEM set up that i don't remember how it felt. i'm on tein flex Z coilovers now. with the swift springs, i felt that the rear end had too much lateral wobble when hitting bumps mid-curve. the tein flex Z's were a great choice for me.

i think that with wider tires and staggered setup, you do get some understeer, which is that 'slowness' that people talk about. but that can be dealt with in part with your alignment with more camber up front.

the bottom line is, i'm happy with the way it turns right now. it feels quick and responsive enough for me. i just drive street and canyons sometimes - no autocross.

sorry.. wouldn't know I got them with the caps already on. I'm not sure why anyone would want to go with anything other than these rays caps. They're beautiful in person.

so the problem is people tend to steal these. i was going to go with something cheap so if someone decided to steal them i wouldn't care as much.

Might as well go with cheap wheels too, in case those get stolen.

along the same lines, you might be able to replace the cap screws with torx screws or some other bit so they're harder to steal.
