There are loads of options if just looking for more power and room. The Mustang, Challenger, Camaro, Genesis Coupe (yep I said it) all come immediately to mind. Some come close to the mileage of a Twin but all have a radically different feel to them.
Make sure whatever you do that you researched it very thoroughly though or in 2 years you may be on the XXXXXX Forum saying "I love the power and the space but am tired of the insert complaint here and am thinking of changing to a ...".
The Grass Is Always Greener syndrome can get very expensive.

I personally will not buy any of the mustangs that have been produced especially this gen. Everywhere I go I see them the GT seems to be the most common. I know there are bad apples in every crowd but it seems that every time I see someone driving one of the new mustangs the drive everywhere fast and act like there "hot ****". I bought my BRZ knowing exactly what it was I didn't expect a rocket ship nor did I need one as I have my Srt4 still which makes nearly 300 to the wheel and weights 2800lbs. Im sure I may get bored of the BRZ lack of power eventually but there is always FD

Pulled up beside a brand new Mustang GT on the weekend. Looked over and there was this really, really old lady driving it. My guess was well into her eighties. I laughed so hard I had tears.

I agree. I test drove one and although a really nice drive I just could not get over the feeling I was in an old school bathtub. It would only take a small drop in the beltline to vastly improve the positioning in the car,

I had an opportunity to drive a E85 tuned GTR at a local track recently. Sweet f'ing Jesus it was brutally fast... But the cabin felt really cramped and visibility was terrible. Same problem, high belt line and narrow windows; wasn't so nice in a big car the felt even bigger.

Ford missed the boat (no pun intended) when they added more weight, and did not trim the fat on the new Mustang. Shrink the size a little and reduce the weight. The Coyote is a great motor so there is not much to do there. Weight savings improves everything, speed, handling, braking, etc. That was my biggest complaint with the new Mustang...

Chevy figured it out and Ford didn't and it cost them the win. I still prefer the Mustang styling, but the Chevy interior is much improved and it seems like a wash.

I don't think for can make the mustang any smaller, they are still playing to a muscle car/old school base and most attempts to modernize the car have met with some resistance.

Chevy made the Camaro smaller and lighter than last gen. Not talking Miata small here but an inch here and there.

I guess we will see what happens to sales. And I mean if you really want old school muscle there it Dodge...
