If not using those parts, which is the lightest twin we know of? |

the aluminum hood we have is lighter than any CF hood out there if I recall correctly. you might shave off 2 lbs by changing out the trunk to CF.
you probably will only be able to shave off about 100 lbs total after spending thousands of dollars. for the most weight savings, just take out the seats and go on a diet to lose some more weight. and don't fill your gas tank fully. cheap and simple way lol

More like.. ultra-expensive.
And yeah, just taking out the spare would net you more weight savings then spending 4k on carbon fiber panels.

Upgrade brakes, most BBKs are less weight. Battery saves 20lbs plus. Empty trunk and less gas. But anything else really guts the "daily driver part"

Don't allow any passengers in the car. That's anywhere between 100-200 lbs for each passenger. This way you can drive the way you want to. So many benefits here.

Exactly what are these "passengers" that you speak of?

Are there any reliable, light weight batteries for daily drivers?

This is true, but it also depends on where you live. On the Gulf Coast, it's fine year-round. My 3 pounder has cranked in 15F weather before. Here's proof of 25F though: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8JwHdOQNLI"]3lb Shorai LFX21LS-BS12 Battery Cranking FR-S in 25 F and Observing Cold Idling with OFT 1.42b Tune - YouTube[/ame]

I want to say that diet and exercise works well if you're the driver...

If you're already skinny though, there's only so much you can do. Kidneys, testicles, those sorts of things...
