The TOB has been the go to explanation for every weird feel, noise, vibration and everything else under the sun lately and although there certainly are enough documented issues with them they have also been found to not be the problem just as many times. People are overlooking the simple answers to usually minor problems because they become so convinced it is the bearing they don't even look at anything else. There is usually no mistaking a throw out bearing going bad because the squeal will start well before failure (usually) and you will know there is something up not just think there is.

In all seriousness, it's probably the throw out bearing. They are so poorly designed for this car. I'm having the same issue(s).

Working on getting pictures but my TOB had side with metal sticking out. Thats what made my clutch clunky, reverse and 1st seemed loose and car would slightly rev itself like if something was dragging. Brb checking texts i got while asleep.
Here's pic, notice issue on bottom right. Bit of metal sticking out. Also bearing seem warped to anyone? ![]() Other side: ![]() Dealer said, "the issue was that it was leaking grease." LMAO
