My head is going to explode. lol.

Okay, so if I go with the Flex Z, it seems like the rear doesn't go as low as the front. Which LCA would allow/aid in lowering the rear. I know Stance does, but do any other LCA?

Thanks for all the answers, guys.

Lmao. I know the feeling. I have never done so much research on a car. Before I just bought whatever was cheap basically. I have changed my mind hundreds of times but so far am very happy with everything. Now I spend all my time here (norcal forum), Suspension forum, and Track forum. I have read the entire csg/rce help thread too. lol

From all I have read, Fortune Auto makes crap. What is your goal and budget?

So far, the rear LCA that I found that can lower the rear some are Stance and PBM. Do the SPL ones allow the rear to be lowered as well? They have a bunch of different holes. lol.

My goal now is minimal tire gap (don't think I want to tuck tire/wheel anymore). Don't plan on tracking my car, just purely a DD over crappy Hwy 37. So I want something that's better quality than Megan, D2, etc. Going for a track look instead of dumped now.

Budget-wise, I'm not really sure. I'm more value driven, so if I see something being useful to me, I don't mind spending. I don't think I'd spend KW or Ohlin money tho simply because you're paying for performance, which isn't high on my priority list.

What about used prices though? You could probably get KW v3 used for the same price as new FA500s with roller bearings and Swift upgrades. It will be overkill for your goals, but I've heard nothing but good things about how KW's ride on the street. You're paying for good dampers and I think that's worth it, especially for a DD.

When it comes to suspension parts (except braces and bars), I'm not a fan of buying used.

The SPL's extra holes are more for changing the geometry that "going lower" like the Stance, which actually jogs down to mount lower. Ultimately, you should look at LCAs more for camber correction than to go low. With budget in mind, I would recommend the SPCs or even the whitelines (slightly nicer SPCs) but those will only give you +/-2-2.5 deg adjustment.

Nothing wrong with buying used suspension parts. For coilovers in particular, you should also consider factoring in the price of a rebuild, depending on the mileage and type of use the dampers have had.

APA Pool Leagues are awesome. If anyone is interested in Billiards (8-ball or 9-ball), you should definitely check it out. It is a great way to improve your game and have a great time!

Yes, SPL can go low because of the new v3 design - 2 sets of holes (high/low), I just have not seen the lower holes used yet.

Reads to me that you may just be a candidate for just springs to lower the car - no performance necessarily. Blow out the OEM shocks/struts and replace them used for <$500. You'll be switching to OEMs anyways when lesser coilovers go bad (it could be a pain to discard coilovers when the manufacturer gives you the runaround or none at all).

I'd get lowering springs and Konis or Bilsteins, non-adjustable, if you want to ride low and have a bearable ride. I don't think FA will do it as well. Or go big and get airbags. Then you can go super low and still make it over speed bumps.
