As far as the electric supercharger, individual components of the tech are all mature. It's really a no-brainer as long as the system is designed properly. A few extra pounds for a big, fat alternator and you're there.

Don't get me wrong, I love having more speed/hp (I have a c38 on mine) but wanting and enjoying more speed does not mean it was a necessity from the dealer.

Noooooooooooooo some FI are fun!

Problem is finding a virgin used FI is harder than believing North Korea has unicorns and can cure AIDS/Cancer.

STI is fun stock with wide tires and Eclipse Spyder turbo as well....till your heads melt.

I'm hoping 2018 model is FI by at least 50whp. If not, just stop production. If not FI, I'll also take a 2.4-2.5L engine as long as hwy mpg does not drop below 30mpg at 60mph.

Ummmmm the very nature of FI means they blow. That is how they work. If they didn't then they would be NA which just suck.

Consider me a guy who discovered a unicorn in north korea? Bought mine modded, lucky as hell, 35k km less about 15 of those fi. No issues aside from a release bearing.
