It looks like there's race team switching from Essex to RR Racing at the moment, for the brake balance control. I still change my mind all the time

I ordered ARP extended wheel studs and Mishimoto forged lug nuts from part box in the UK.

Looking at prices shipped to France. RR Racing stage 4 is 1750$ while Essex Sprint is 2670$. It's very unlikely that I go Essex :o

In my case i would choose the AP kit for its weight and for all the advantages of using a racing caliper, wider, more pad material, thicker discs... Rear balance is just a matter of putting the same pads.

I find that the stock car has an excellent braking setup, i've done quite a few trackdays in Spain and Portugal(hot conditions) and some laps at the Nordschleife, and they hold up extremely well for a stock system every time. Adding some decent pads and fluid is more than enough, and i would only upgrade to the AP kit to reduce running costs: pads/discs last WAY longer thanks to its size, and are cheaper to replace.

Just my opinion on that matter, in case it helps you decide

I know this thread, but I will use Wilwood race caliper with the big pads for that exact reason.
RR stage 1 and 3 use the street caliper.
Stage 2 and 4 use the race caliper.

Stage 4 use Coleman Racing rotors, which are supposed to be very good.

Thanks for the feedback on stock brakes
My concern with them is more on cost than performance too
