Ah i see. Ya i saw your dyno. Must pull like crazy. You had 290 on hbp with 91? Thats amazing. Im at 255 on 94 with the standard pulley. No e85 at pump here but you can buy drums of it

I had 275whp on 91 before the HBP, so the 91 gains were slim even with a tune. (~15whp) I think it was pulling a lot of timing up top, consequence of CA piss water.

If you can get away with getting drums to your place, I'd say do it. IMO the additional ~100whp is worth it. Run around making roughly the same horsepower as someone with a C38, but with the peace of mind that you're doing it with 11.5 psi instead of 15. Effects are marginal after E60 so you could blend it a bit to make it last longer, and I'm not sure about near you but its something like $2.40 a gallon near me.

Yes, it pulls like crazy. The car is just outright nasty now, but I think there's still a tad more left on the table. I'll be switching some things up to explore that soon though.

I really, really do not recommend running the high boost pulley with anything less than race fuel or Ethanol.

There are better ways to make more power, e.g. a header.

Would running 94 & ~105+ through flex fuel be ok? I dont want to run race fuel or e85 non stop as its crazy expensive here.

Belt whine? You shouldn't ever be getting belt whine unless you have really worn (really, really old) belt that is stretched from age.

If you're local, I'd just tell you to stop by CSG so someone can take a quick look and listen to your car. I'd recommend you compare with other locals that have the kit, or check with your installer; they'll be able to best guide you.

Yes, but if you're not running Ethanol, there's no reason to get a Flex Fuel kit. The Flex Fuel kits are only there to read ethanol content of the fuel.

I had a loud whine during idle as well and rotrex is sending me a replacement. Hopefully this isn't the case for you but you can check out my video to compare if you'd like.

Ah i see. For some reason i thought flex fuel adjusts the power/timing to the ethanol content currently being run through the system since its fairly inconsistent from the pumps.

The Flex Fuel kit provides information to the ECU; if you have an appropriate tune, the ECU can then use that information to make adjustments.

Just curious, when did you order yours?
Jmonty and I ordered ours not too far off from each other and both have the noise.

Anyone have hesitation problems around 3-4k rpm? Under light/moderate throttle i notice a very noticiable hesitation/stumble. Notice it most when car is cold
