Yeah man everything came out fine, idk when i lift up the lever it twists slightly to the right, i had a shift knob stuck on there that wouldn't come out so i used a pipe wrench to get mor torque and it took a lot of pressure for it to come off so idk if i messed something small or i have to replace the whole thing

Oh, it's fucked. The lever is not solid down lower. It's hollow with a slot that houses the return spring for the lockout mechanism. You twisted it.

It's worth $170 bucks to remove the whole thing and see if you can repair it.

Do NOT try to twist it back while it's installed. The pin in the shift linkage is the only thing that keeps it from rotating. You absolutely don't want to damage that.

Yeah. The pin in the shift linkage is pretty stout but don't take any more chances. I still say take it out and try twisting it back. I bet it will be ok.

you might need to regrease the botton joint, but there's some extra grease left that I didn't use on my kartboy.
