Peel and Seal from Lowes. I used this on my truck and made a significant noise reduction. Apply with heat gun in colder weather.

I plan on going with Dynamat Xtreme. I don't plan on hardcore deadening but i did want to do the doors, under the rear seats (apparently that's where a lot of road noise comes from) and the trunk area, ill see how this goes.

FYI, Dynamat won't do anything for higher-frequency noise like road/wind noise. You'll need mass-loaded vinyl and maybe closed-cell foam for that.

can always change interior carpet. On my ae86 (had no carpet because metal cancer spread to it), I added house carpet (thin one not fluffy) and it helped noise by A LOT!!!~
But gotta watch out when it rains, itll stink it up.

I've used this to dampen vibrations on the sheet metal inside the door panels. This is a real measurable effect due to adding mass... changing the resonate frequency ( lowering ).

Yes, it lowers the resonant frequency, no it does not effectively damp vibration. It also fails after repeated heating and cooling cycles in hot climates. |
