Some more updates. Got the harnesses in tonight. Way more of a pain in the ass with the seats already mounted than I expected, heh. Still need a solution for the center belt as there's no mount on the seats themselves, but that should be the easy part.

Are you keeping it different looking panels? Dipping it? Repaint?

Nope, leaving the carbon exposed. The door/rear quarter was repainted. I might dip the roof black, but at this point I'm less focused on cosmetics and more on gofast.

Belt mount points shouldn't be on the seat or the frame or your seat brackets. They should be to the chassis. I used these and then had the clip in type ends on my belts:

Just drill a hole and place the large washer on the bottom side of your floor pan for strength. Then you clip your center belt in and run it up through the slot in your seat.

Interesting. I was informed by a shop I called that has a race-prepped BRZ that their buckets had a fifth point mounting hole on the underside of the seat. This is my first serious track rat build (had a miata and MS3 prior), so a lot of this is new to me. Thanks for the info! I still don't feel confident enough to do something like this myself, so I'll find a local shop I can trust for assistance. I'll probably pick up one of those brackets though just to make my life easier, heh.

I just checked my site, and I don't really have any good photos of my eye bolts installed. You can barely see one of them for the passenger inside lap belt at the bottom of this photo:

I have a similar one in that area on the other side of the driveshaft tunnel for my driver side inside lap belt. The eye bolts and clips make installing and removing the belts really easy.

Got on a dyno for some baseline results before header and tune (hopefully sometime this week if I can find a shop in the area that's open!).

[ame=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwV650nZKuU]BRZ Dyno pull[/ame]

And results below. I'm pretty happy so far, considering I'm basically stock with an overpipe and a track pipe, no tune.

Eh? These tires have been wonderful. I couldn't be happier with their performance. Pretty dang sticky as far as street tires go.
