Haven't been on the forum in ages, been insanely busy. Heard about the Australian price of the 86 yesterday. 29k for the entry manual model, not inclusive of additional costs obviously. Thats brilliant. I thought this car was going to be the same price as the MX5 pushing the 40k barrier. Think it is time to investigate finance options available, the temptation has gotten great now.

What Toyota dealerships will be having exclusive drivable demos in the metro area?
Closest Toyota dealership near to me is the Scarborough Bch road dealership, and to be frank is a bit of a shithole tbh. If there is one on the other side of the city in Melville or Welshpool, i will make time to travel over and to have a look and testdrive.

At Galleria Toyota GTS manual is $39,500 drive away... With aero kit and u hard ball them ull get it for $42,000... Both without tin but everything else including full tank of fuel included....

DO NOT GET THE WINDOW TINT in my opinion, it sets u back $400 more.. U can go to any good tint shop, pick any tint, be totally anal about quality and cutter climbing around in ur car and still get it cheaper but again just my opinion....

Feel free to say Josh from ft86.com recommended to see John the manager or Pauline from Galleria Toyota. They will cut the crap and give u all the proper info without the typical salesmen extra... And who knows i may get a free car cover or something if enough people mention lol....

So they don't actually have a floor stock demo until the 18th? Wanted to go walk down to the dealer tonight but I'll wait then.

I've spoken to a lot of dealers this week and none will offer viewing/test drives until the 18th.

Was talking to a few dealers tonight. Theres one BRZ avaliable (of the limited 200) that I know of. Guy was saying it would be mid 40s (same price as a WRX!!!). Would get delivery in July. Price isn't confirmed but it sounded like the limited spec (leather seats etc).

Called up the local Toyota dealer and they said they had a demo out today (Red GTS 6MT). Lead time is looking like its out to 3-4 months and going up quickly. Can expect Sept/Oct delivery is placed an order tonight. Cars are being built to order at the moment.

Probably shouldnt say much in regards to when i may get to really test drive this as it could upset a few people but yeah...

Cabe is certainly the guy to talk to... First person ive spoken to that knows his shit about the 86..... Price will be $39,000 drive for the white GTS manual....

It's a pitty that the 18th isn't a confirmed date(?). I spoke to New town today and I got $39K as price for a White GTS Manual. I couldn't get a confirmed delivery date other than my car will be in Kewdale on the 13th.

I'm a +1 regarding window tint. It's much cheaper else where with same warranty.

Now I just need to get the Offer to Purchase document so I can get my finance sorted!!!
The waiting never ends!!!

Who wants a BRZ??? More money for less fun.. Unless it was badged a Scion i would never even consider the Subapoo BRZ..
