What would you do different?
I have a 2015 FRS, one year old, 22,600mi. I'd probably have price searched more, maybe bought a BRZ discounted instead of an FRS retail. Or...Wish I'd bought a used FRS, but was afraid I'd be dealing with interior rattles. Now wish I'd bought and lived with a used 2013. Hate looking at the dings and scratches on my once new car...soft paint on these cars, and scratches unavoidable with the long freeway trips I've taken...(four times coast to coast) For break in I did beat the piss out of the car from mile one. No reason not to. Let's get those rings seated properly...LOL. I have the oil and filter changed every 7500k. I don't let them check any other fluid levels. No leaks, no reason to check trans and diff, far as I'm concerned. Under hood fluids easy to check myself...and this car did seem to eat coolant at lst. Wish I'd gotten the free alignment. Did not realize that it's free up to one year and 20k miles under warranty. Other than alignment currently needed (tires show toe is off), zero other problems with my car so far...nothing to have fixed for free...damn ! Last edited by ToySub1946; 10-26-2015 at 08:27 PM. |

I read the really good brands don't turn yellow at all. I could be wrong, hasn't been the first time.

I would install ClearPlex right away. Cost me a new windscreen to learn the lesson.

I should've just got the Monogram since I've now decided to basically keep the FR-S for a long long time.

I bought the 2014 when the 2015s came out so I had a chance at a Monogram, but I couldn't justify the price difference. The main reason I wanted it was because the center console looks so much more complete to me. I may just end up doing a conversion in the future since so many aftermarket harnesses have been developed for it now. |

I love having an actual key to start the car. I'm not much for nostalgia but I will always prefer a real key vs push to start. Remote start sure would be nice for the winter lol

LOL I dunno, I once had a guy sit in my passenger seat and rub the dash trim. I guess he was trying to figure out if the Toyota T's (or space invaders) had any texture to them

I'd take the stock deck out sooner. It sucked. My "new" from craigslist pioneer touchscreen is soooooo much better. And only $100! Its pre out voltage makes my sub twice as loud.
I waited three years! Don't! |

I would paint my lip kit (Side Skirts & Spats) black before installing. Have had it on for about 4 months now and the sun damage is already unbearable. Not hard to remove, paint, and re-install just a hassle cause I know it could've already been done.

Well I mean, weirdos are everywhere, I still touch the dash because the T's are deceptive and I've sat in the car everyday for nearly 3 years now.
