What would you do different?

Hey everyone, for those who are more experienced then me, what would you do different if you get another new car?

I know theres certain break-in method, so we can skip that.

But would you change the motor oil, clutch oil, transmission, change oil sooner, change tires, etc?

Thanks.

I'd change the oils as needed. But I kinda liked the stock tires before I added more power, so those would stay too.

Paint color correction and put a decent paint sealant on before anything.

Hit the track and autocross sooner (I wasted a year), run the stock tires into the ground.

Considering my next car will most likely be more expensive than the FRS: paying in cold, hard cash up front, in full. Damn interest! Well, at least 75%

Other than that, clear bra.

The only type of auto loan I can be bothered with is the 0% kind.

Did that 3 weeks after I got my car although not much paint color correction was needed since the car was new. Got Opti Coat Pro ceramic clear coating.

I should've done the Xpel but the authorized dealer for that wanted big bucks over $1200.00. :eyebulge:

I feel I could've walked away with mine for about 3K less off the msrp out the door if I had haggled more (solely based off of my intuition, and given it had nearly 200miles on it.)

Clear bra and ask dealer to remove effin pos tint.

I agree with this. If you can get a good detailing done and then cover the car with VPS or PPF before it even leaves the dealership.

I have a crystal black silica BRZ and I'm struggling right now with the paint. Seriously considering paint correction and opti coat.

Best $395.00 I spent on my car. Not much paint correction so the owner of the shop charged me less. Just make sure the detail shop you choose is a authorized dealer/installer for Optimum Opti Coat Pro. ;)

I wouldn't have married my first wife.
