It's funny that stainless is now "required" for headers. People seem to think that if its not stainless it won't last. I wish someone would bring out a mild steel header for cheaper. Mild steel will probably last longer than 99% of the people will own the car anyway. Since whatever header you buy it seems you have to spend another few hundred dollars in a tune anyway. I had mild steel headers(Hooker Super Comps) on my old Mustang for years, and it was a daily driver. Never rusted out or broke welds. Surface rust yes, but they lasted a looong time. In fact they were still good when I changed them out because I put different heads on. They're still hanging in my shop.

I for one wouldnt want to put a rusty header on a ~30k brand new car. I would probably put mild steel headers on an old mustang over stainless too.

If fit and finish is anything like their front pipe, pass. I tried their front pipe because it was cheap and I wanted to hear my exhaust setup full Catless and not drop $300-500 on a front pipe. Didn't fit right, hits transmission. I wouldn't want to know what a nightmare their header would be.

PPE should have one available. Haven't heard much thou
Nameless supposedly is realising this month
Open flash header from Vishnu is out and is atleast this good or better for the same price

HKS and JDL both are better in every sense. Why buy a header that doesn't make power. Seems like a waste to me.

I wouldnt buy it.

so from MY experience, all of their products i've had i've never had a problem with.
will i get them for my frs? nope i got the revworks

Well, I was speaking generally of course. I'm sure every company will have good and bad, it all depends on which they have more of. DC might have a bad rep, probably not as bad as weapon r though.

I been running the header for about 1 year and my friend been running there header as well. I have no issue with it and I havetrack the car a couple times this past year. I know the header dyno 10whp and that seem pretty normal when you remove a cat of any aftermarket header.
