Which mode do I select?

I'm parking my car and am putting a battery maintainer on, but which mode do I select? 12V norm or 12V cold? I'm 95% sure 12V cold but just want to confirm

Will you be parking it in your living room, or will you keep it in your garage?

If you expect the temp in the garage to less than 50 deg F use the cold setting.

lol... but seriously. Use the cold setting. Both will go into "float" mode once the no-load voltage is reached. Don't use the cold mode in a warm setting. Overcharge is real.

Wait until winter arrives and then put it on Cold mode. Right now its getting rather chilly at night, but still hitting 50-60 during the day. I am assuming your weather is similar or maybe a bit colder. I would wait.

^^^ This is it. The greater risk is in overcharging when it's too warm. It's ok to use the regular mode until you're absolutely sure it will stay cold.

Thanks, Timmy.
