Hi guys

I have been waiting patiently for a year for this car and I have been stalking this forum for awhile now

. On Wednesday I picked up my 2014 2.0 High Manual 86. Purchased her 2nd hand with just over 19000ks on the clock from Toyota Kingsmead. I praise them for their excellent service!

So far I have been loving every moment of her so far. She is mighty around the corners even tho it's slightly under powered. Honestly I don't think she will be stock for long

There are two things I cannot stand in the car, I have already fixed one issue... that is the interior light of the car. Swopped it out for a LED one and it looks so much better!

The other is the boot spoiler. Really can't stand the 2014 model boot spoiler! Will be swopping it out with the TRD one.

Looking forward to meeting the KZN 86/BRZ club. Unfortunately I don't have facebook to keep up with the meet and greats. Is there any other form of communication?

Congrats! I actually turned the interior light off permanently. When I get home at night and turn the car off, the light automatically comes on, and this effectively blinds me to what's going on outside. With the crime in this country... eish. Jy wil die skelms sien kom. So I turn it off and stay in the darkness like a night stalker

If you do swap for the TRD spoiler... please post prices and details :P

So sad that anything TRD is so crazy expensive.

I'm not sure exactly which spoiler you're looking for?
If you can post a pic, we might be able to suggest a much cheaper alternative...

Here is a picture of the one i'm looking for, I'm a bit scared to get one off ebay incase there are gaps when fitting. Only thing is the current spoiler is bolted on

guess I have to fill the holes and spray the boot...

I know what you mean. Its really bright and in your face, would be nice if the car came with footwell lights. I have been on a LED craze this weekend! Swopped out number plate and reverse lights to LED.

Still can't decide what to do with fogs, LED or HID's

That's the same style as mine which I got from Jon Motoring in the USA by mail order. http://www.jonmotoring.com/spoiler/
I'm very happy with the fit and finish. It comes in black, so you'd need to paint it if desired.

Two years ago it cost R1479 including freight, duties, vat, etc.
