Where Should I Run Air Line?
I figure this might be the most appropriate sub-forum to ask this question. I need to run an air line from a 2 gallon air tank in the trunk, out underneath the chassis. This air line will run to the front of the car. What is the best option for doing this? The air tank will be situated on the left side of the trunk. I do know there are two plastic grommets under the spare tire, but those come out right above the heat shield for the exhaust, and don't leave much space, and I am keeping the spare tire, so it doesn't really work anyway.
I figure the air suspension folks in this area might be able to give me some guidance as to what they did to run an air line from inside to outside. At worst, I want to only have to drill one hole in my car somewhere. I don't intend on completely hacking the car apart, lol. I just want to know where I should plan to run the line before I start brainstorming the orientation of the other parts of the install. |
