Ordered a Hot Lava FRS recently, should be arriving early November! Thinking about picking up some Blizzak winter tires, wondering if any of you guys drive this thing year round and if so, what are your go to tires?

I drove mine last winter. I had a set of Michelin x-ice 3 on and it handled awesome in the snow and ice.

Awesome, thanks for the response! I'll have to look into getting a set of those. Out of curiosity, did you get them mounted on a set of 15"-16" steelies or on the stock/aftermarket wheels?

They were mounted on a set of 16" oem Legacy GT wheels (snowflakes). I'll be switching to steelies this winter since two of those old wheels aren't holding air well anymore.

I used barely run winterforces on 16x6.5 02 wrx wheels. It was a blast. I actually had fun.

I must say I'm looking forward to the first light snowfall so I can slide the car around a bit. TireRack has a pretty good deal: ~$750 for a set of 4 Blizzaks and 16" steelies. I'll have to get a quote for those Michelins....

I don't know if this topic has been discussed but does anyone know of any good touch less car washes or self service car washes in the metro Detroit area?

Hoping to get some Opticoat protection asap after delivery, just a couple of questions. Did any of you guys get Opticoat? What detailing shop did you use and how much did you end up paying? Thanks in advance.
