installed cnt recently. in cabin noise is slightly louder than stock (stock front pipe & muffler). behind the car the tone has got a bit meaner but still not obnoxious. took 4 hours solo but im not totally familiar with my way around a garage. that included using a lift, and a 10/15 minute drive to heat it up a bit, lift it again to tighten it all back down. had to loosen the passenger motor mount to lift engine an inch or so to get the stock op out. no amount of tetris could get the pipe out w/o either jacking or removing the shield. had a bit of a tough time getting one side of the header flange on the bolts at first try, likely because of the angle one person has lifting the thing in place while keeping the gaskets lined up on the studs on both sides. screw driver to wedge the stubborn side on.
after install no noticeable exhaust leaks while it was on the lift. no CEL's after about 250 miles, mostly highway. I hope im out of the woods as far as the CEL's go. butt dyno indicates a bump in power over stage 1 OFT. certainly a bump over stock configuration. paired with top speed overpipe since you gotta unbolt all that hoopla anyways. i typically run 93 so theres likely a few more hp to be had from e85. im satisfied (for now?) EDIT:: I need to sort out the data channels to log and post em up to confirm things are within safe limits (OFT). |

Seems like 1320 is a good brand as well and for the additional cost of shipping, 385 is a great price for a great product. Thanks @drewbot!

I can comment. There is a freaking 4-5 week wait time : (. I may get the CNT just because I am stupid impatient. I was going to go SBD turbo, but I may delay it a month or two so I can get a header and play with it.

I am looking at OFH 1320, Gruppe and CNT but I am not sure which one is best. I have the OFT already...

most turbo kits including sbd one have a turbo specific manifold, hence your header will need to be replaced with turbo kit.

I'd liken it to whatever the Borla UEL is most likely putting out with an OFT stage 2 uel tune, I have yet to install it and it's waiting patiently at a friends house for May to come round the corner so I can install it when I'm not busy. The collector is the same sort of mess the borla has only a bit neater and the tubing is about the same size I believe. @DAEMANO do you have any stock vs cnt dyno numbers?
