18x8 front and 18x9.5 on stock suspension

Hey guys, I'm still a noob to BRZ and need some advice regarding the wheels and tires. So I really want some wide tires on my BRZ (more traction and i love the look). Currently I'm running 225/40 front and 245/40 rear on stock wheels. I want to go to 245 front and 275 rear. I couldn't find any really good summer performance tires 275 on 17 (I was planning to go for 17x9s) so I decided to go for 18x8 front and 18x9.5 rear. I'm wandering if it will work for stock suspension? I have -1.5 front camber with camber bolts.

Thanks!

Look in the meaty tire thread.
Offsets matter, learn them, know what is and what it does.
Learn tire sizes and what aspect ratio does in relation to widths and tire heights.
Those sizes can fit, but it is up to you to choose the right tire and the right offsets. The calculator linked above will help you.
275 width is pushing it on stock suspension clearances. I would say it does not fit.

Please post pictures of your current wheel and tire combo. Especially the rear. Thanks!

275 is going to be big. Maybe a big problem. It all depends on how thick your wallet is. (or your head). Just kidding.

It will work, I have seen somewhere on here a white FRS with 18x8, 18x9.5 Enkei Raijins on stock suspension. Get the offsets right and you'll have no problems!

Hey guys, thanks for all replys, kinda lost track of this thread (lots of work). I don't have any pics on hand right now, but I'll post them tomorrow. I'm thinking of Enkei T6S +45 both front and rear. My wallet isn't thick unfortunately (very bad at saving money ). I'm trying to keep the car looking reasonably stock (no body kits with wide fenders).
