The rain looks like it's stopped for a while, so the girl got a wash, wax and interior scotchguard today:

I'm getting a strange intermittent rattle when clutching out every now and again. I'm going to try and put it through service tomorrow for an inspection just to make sure something isn't out of the ordinary, but I may have to wait because our master techs are going to school to study the BR-Z in a matter of days!

I really want a five axis spoiler..

Congrats! My DGM Premium says hi:

I think I hear that transmission noise up front too sometimes when shifting. I believe it's normal but not 100% sure. Not sure if I'm thinking of the same thing you're referring to.

Almost twins! Maybe we'll cross paths some day!

I've been hearing the clinking still here and there, I think the gearbox is just a little on the noisier side at times.

Keyless entry is an option on the Premium? I don't really care about the push start button (ignition) but walking up to your car w/o pushing any button on a key or remote (leaving the key in your pocket) is useful...

When you say keyless entry, you still have to push something on the key to unarm/unlock the door right? Sorry, just wanted to clarify..

Yeah, on the Premium, you still have to press the button on the key to open the doors, you can't just grab the handle and have it unlock like you can on the Limited.

What the Premium has is still technically 'keyless', since you don't need to physically use the key to unlock the door, but it's still a step below what comes with the Limited.

Ahh, i see.. Thanks Chauntalei! That clears things a bit. If the full keyless system were an option on the Premium, thats what would've stopped me from ordering the Limited. BTW, congrats on the DGM DookDookDGM! I'm really liking that chrome fender accessory too

Now if only someone made a nice low profile GT spec wing...

Hey, I'm just going by what I heard. It could very well be hearsay (as it obviously is seeing as you're 25 and a dude). That goes for the deposit, as well. SOA seems to think that Dreyer is a good dealer, otherwise they wouldn't have gotten dibs on the first of BRZ's.

Anyway, drama aside, I'm not much for dealership political crap. I got the car for MSRP and they were very gentle with me as a first time customer. This is a "hey, this is my car and I love it" thread, not a "hey, let's focus on a tiny snippet of drama in passing conversation" thread.
