Smudge..... Other than the 335 SC what else did you do? I only went back a page and didn't notice any talk about what you've done. Have you changed the piston heads to a lower compression rating (10:1 or 9:1). Change the rods? Anything changed at the rear end?

Fully forged build using the HKS stroker kit. So that's rods, pistons and crank coupled with the HKS cams too

Not done anything to the driveshafts if that's what you mean by the rear?

Question

What is everyone using for the intercooler coolant? I read in an old post to use Subaru super blue coolant. I would assume this would be used the same for both the BRZ and GT86, just Toyota probably has a different named variant. Is this something I would just grab from the local Subaru dealer?

Yes you'd buy it from a local Subaru dealer or order it online.

I used the Toyota pink stuff so it's a different colour to what's in the engine. Same quality and lifespan.

Use a 50/50 mix of distilled water and ethelyne glycol. Premix is fine, too.

Propylene glycol we just don't use. It does not absorb as much heat.

Either type of coolant will work and not harm our system. Ethylene glycol absorbs more heat.

Any specific brand better than others?
Also, I have been reading the forums and cannot find much information on upgrading the MAP sensor. Some say there is a boost limitation on the stock sensor and to upgrade, but this might be refering specifically to turbo, while others say stick with the stock sensor on supercharged applications specifically Sprintex. Lastly, I read a post the other day about there being a break in period for the Sprintex supercharger? This is the first I heard...
@SprintexUSA can you confirm?

I also have seen people using an aftermarket Aluminum Supercharger Suction Pipe. Are there any real benefits to using aluminum piping over the stock plastic tube?
Nameless had a pipe, but it is no longer in production. PREracing also makes one, but I am still waiting to confirm availability.

I believe the Nameless one was ceramic coated on the inside as well. When I enquired to if they still made one or if they ever did one for the 335 kit, I got no reply

Simply having the metal intake over the plastic would lead me to think it'd heat up quicker and push hotter air into the intake of the charger, making it less efficient

Slowly 3" catback now ordered but still researching on best manifold, overpipe and front pipe for the setup. Looks like custom may be the way forward

Nearly 1,000 miles done on the new engine and charger
