How about contacting Toyota for a right hand drive, drivers seat? Since she has no problem driving, and it adjusts. My wife is 4' 10" but she always has her hands over her eyes when I drive, so even if she could see she wouldn't anyway. :-)

I'm female and hardly 5ft. I sit a bit close to steering wheel but driving a manual means I have to reach more than just the foot pedals. I like the feeling and the somewhat wide format view. Makes me feel even closer to ground. Have her sit on a booster, they actually make them and they look pretty unremarkable which is good maybe, for the embarrassment lol
