had my tune for a while but i've never data logged it and i dont know what is considered okay. so i did a few pulls on the freeway in 3rd gear, the last 2 might look a little weird. people were in my way. haha
i have the OFT Stage 2 UEL 91 octane tune pull #1 http://datazap.me/u/iarefluffy/log-1...=1-3-5-8-12-14 pull #2 http://datazap.me/u/iarefluffy/log-1...=1-3-5-8-12-14 pull #3 http://datazap.me/u/iarefluffy/log-1...=1-3-5-8-12-14 |

Sounds like you have things under control.
You can do log pulls before your fuel has fully adapted, you just have to know when to discount any false data collected. For instance you should be able to see if the AFR curve is the correct general shape before you have a proper LTFT. You can sometimes even make adjustments relative to other maf cells like that to change the shape, but you can't see how much the whole thing is out of scale. It's simply safer to tell people to drive 100 miles and then log, so they're not looking at false data and going in circles. Quote:

You need to go somewhere you can push the loud pedal to the floor.
Those may be good as a reference for fine tuning later, but the first thing to look at is always WOT (when you're not tuning anything from scratch that is). It's too rich. Go to the guide and copy the injector ratio tables at a minimum (enable PI at 7000rpm instead of 5000). Usually I'd say ignore any knock until you fix fuel first, but it's pulling 4 degress, so maybe copy the 98ron base timing table also. Quote:

90 % sure ive got an exhaust leak. Im only seeing hear/feeling it on hard lefts but havent gotten under the car to check it out just yet
so here is a a few u turns and circles in the parking lot. Towards the very end is where I was in the parking lot. Let me know your thoughts. http://www.datazap.me/u/jph11/potent...2-9-11&solo=11 |

If the noise only happens in turns it might be a mechanical noise like overpipe hitting on chassis or header on skid plate you can usually smell exhaust gasses in engine bay if you have leak in header/overpipe area. |

Noticed my Adv Mult went down a bit on my drive to work this morning. It was a bit chilly.
I have not tried Steve's tune that he provided to me last night as I am trying to see if changing my driving habit (Shifting later RPMs) would make improvements to my data. http://datazap.me/u/kayysonie/third-...-11-12&solo=11 |

There's no point looking at timing until you fix the fuel. Pretty sure i said that already.

So I have been collecting tons of CL logs on the OTS 91 Tune preparing to scale my MAF sensor. One of the things I've been noticing during 3rd gear WOT pulls is that my AFR goes a little leaner than commanded. Below is a section of a log showing this. Not getting any knock. IAM is at 1. Anybody else see this is their logs?
Comments? I just noticed that when I click on that link the scaling changes and you don't see the AFR leaning out and crossing the commanded line. I don't know if this is a bug in the datazap table or how the different lines are scaled but if you look at the raw data you can see it happen. http://datazap.me/u/rustysocket/maf-...3215-3215-3167 Last edited by RustySocket; 10-01-2015 at 08:53 PM. |

Yes, running stage 1. Will review the above post. What's happening in datazap was how the AFR was being scaled differently than commanded. Not a bug per se. But when I was clicking on each channel it viewed on one scale for both commanded and actual AFR on my screen. When I clicked on the link I posted it rescaled them slightly differently. Unchecking the throttle parameter and reposting the link fixed how it was viewed on the screen. Regardless, yes I'm running the 91 stage 1 tune and the raw data shows it leaning out. Thanks for the help. @Wayno, thanks for your help. I love datazap for looking at logs and posting them. Are there any other easy to use programs that will keep AFR's both scaled the same? It's likely my inexperience in using datazap to display the data correctly. Any tutorials? EDIT: If I'm reading that spreadsheet correctly. I want to move from the stage 1 OTS scale to the smoothed Stg 1 scale? Should I leave my scaled values from <3volts and only use those > 3.0 in the spreadsheet or use the entire scale as a starting point. The re-log and start my MAF scale from there? No, you clicked AFR and/or commanded AFR which made them scale differently. Never click the AFR graphs and it's fine. |

Hey guys. Today I was noticing that my car was slightly leaner than it usually does.
When trying to understand why through logged data, I found that my LTFT exhibits some funky behavior at WOT. In my datalog http://datazap.me/u/raviolig/10115?log=0&data=1-8 The 2nd and 3rd pulls cause the LTFTs to creep up to +10. Like mentioned above, could it be due to an exhaust leak? I have a trackday next week and just want to make sure my car is 100% beforehand.
