on this dyno, stock frs/brz only make around 140-145whp. so the results are not bad at all with full bolt ons and tune, such as the dyno of the jdl header

Definitely seems like the ace header has the most room for power gains. The JDL was also very good. Ptuning was disappointing, had a bad dip in midrange and only made extra power in the upper rpm's

That is incorrect.
ACE 4-1 does not have a "Type" name to it. The ACE 4-1 EL header is just a 4-1 EL header by ACE. It is a seam welded header. The Type B (4-2-1) is a slip joint welded header. The Type A (4-2-1) is a seam welded header. Thanks, CSG |

So the ACE header being dynoed is 4-2-1 with 350 overpipe?
Thanks

Ace Type A 4-2-1 (not 4-1). Assuming serial number interpretation is accurate, I'm the 7th one. Locally ceramic coated (doubt it would have any measurable effect on performance / dimensional variation, but figured I would mention it for completeness).
Rest of exhaust completely stock. Intake TRD, no other relevant mods. Would buy/drink the Kool-aid again without regrets. |
