FREE Cold Air Intake
We are looking for a MY2015 Scion FR-S or a Subaru BRZ to test the new Perrin Performance Cold Air Intake. The car will be needed for about 10 days to two weeks to conduct the testing required by CARB to certify the Intake for sale in CA. The car must be in fully stock configuration including tires in order to qualify for the test. You will get to keep the Perrin Air Intake at the end of test for your participation. Our lab is located in Ontario and you are welcome to come visit and check us out before agreeing to the test. Only normal driving, not in excess of 80 MPH, on a chassis dynamometer will be conducted and should not exceed 250 miles in all.

Damn! I read the title and actually thought you were offering a FREE cold air intake; rather than 'Looking to borrow stock car for two weeks for CAI test.'
Are you offering a rental/loaner car for the duration of the test?

I would definitely sell my grimmspeed one and buy this just for the fact that it's CARB approved.

I once rented a corolla for 2 weeks when my car was in the shop. The bill ended up being 530$. So if this intake is 530$+ than its worth it. You can also rent a fr-s from local people, i believe there's an app for that and they charge like 60$ a day. All in all 2 weeks for an intake that's probably going to cost 300$ isn't worth it unless someone has a twin sitting around that they rarely drive.

Wouldn't Perrin be the one CARB certifying their own product anyways?

companies dont "pay" for a rental car just cuz you let them borrow your car for testing. thats why they ask to see who is available and willing.
damn people these days just want free shit handed to them on a silver platter hahah. a lot of companies dont even give you the product for "free" after testing and instead offer a heavily discounted price on the product.
