Need help interpreting logs

Just flashed Stg 2 UEL 93 octane OTS tune. Did the key on, 20 sec, key off 20 sec, started car, came up to temp without touching throttle etc. Drove it like a normal human being for 10 minutes or so then did 3 pulls, first 2 in 3rd starting around 2k rpm to red line then shifted to 4th until 105mph, ran out of road, got scared, let off. 3rd pull started in 2nd.

Car seems to run fine, just don't know what to look for in the logs. Any help from the masters @steve99 @Wayno would be appreciated!

Only performance mods on this AT BRZ are Tomei UEL header, TRD drop in air filter, Perrin silicone intake tube and OFT.

looks fine
little bit of knock at higher rpm -1.3 occasionally, IAM staying solid at 1 so ECU is not that concerned.

AFR is a bit richer than commanded but thats normal for OFT tunes

have a read of the logging link below

This is my '14 AT on E85 after 200 miles. Not a full run up. But looks rich all thru out the rpm to me! It is on OTS St. 2 EL E85 tune. Car is stock except for intake tube and filter. The car has actually bogged enough to jerk a little bit a few times...so I'm a little concerned.

http://datazap.me/u/mgpaxman/pull?lo...0&zoom=429-616

I am setting up a rom with Wayno's info and would like to know if I should use another map like the UEL "Lean" option looks like it's in line to bring my numbers together or if it's just the fuel or what??

Any help is appreciated! As is all the work you've done!

Pax

EDIT: Here's an auto 1st second third run after about 50 miles of learning and loading Wayno's "Stg. 2 Stock E85 V86" tune maps and MAF Map for Perrin intake.
I'm lean now. But other numbers look really good.....Anything I should do now?

Do you actually have a perrin intake?

Wayno.....

I have a Perrin intake tube! Does that count!?
But seriously. I thought these maps were somewhat interchangable depending on what a person is trying to accomplish! Is that wrong?
The first log is over .8 rich in many areas. The second is now lean but only around .5. So I need to find the happy medium!

They are, but not really the perrin because it doesn't just have a different scale, it has a different shape curve. The at2 scale is for rich cars on e85 and works out of the box most of the time.

My default Stg2 scale is also leaner than OTS Stg2. I don't know what cal code you are on but there's a table in the guide as to what you should start with.

Better to small-step it for safety.
(rich) OTS Stg2 -> Smoothed Stg2 -> AT2 -> Smoothed Stg1 -> OTS Stg1 -> Perrin (lean)

Looking at the LTFT and it being zero for most of the rpm range on that last log i suspect the log was done just after flash,

do two or three light steady throttle (10%-20%) runs from 2000-6000 in 2nd or third just let the revs build slowly (an uphill grade is good) this will allow the ecu to learn fuel trims quicker then see what it looks like

The ltft has a fair bit of resolution above 7000 and 50 mi on flash, so most likely ltft is adapted to 0.

Regardless, i think it's better to use one of the stg2 scales on e85. We know the car is rich on ots stg2 so probably the smoothed stg or the ots stg2 PETROL scale, both of which will be about 0.3 leaner everywhere.

Even on the richest cars with stock intake, the perrin scale will be the wrong shape - too lean then going too rich.

agree he should not be running perrin maf scale unless he has perrin intake, and they need a bit of work anyway

however i have driven for a week and not had ltft adapt at higher rpm if all you do is drive below 4000 in traffic then mash the pedal it never gets any closed loop learn time at higher flow rates.

diong the maf scaleing is always best option.

Thank you for the input guys. So it has OTS Stg 2 EL E85 B00D base tune with Waynos E85 Maps (All of them that apply to AT and E85) from the "Stg. 2 Stock E85 V86 A01I" file.
Now it has 35 miles or so on the above maps, minus the Perrin MAF map and plus the AT2 MAF map.
I've got some more miles to do before logging will do any good.
I'm just driving around with AFR/LTFT/ADV. Multiplier up on the screen for good measure.
Should be able to post another log tomorrow.

The log I shared above is after 50 miles and a few run ups to red line that I didn't record. LTFT had calmed down and was predictable before I recorded. I am sure more drive time could change things tho....I'm just impatient. And yes I do the slow run to speed up the learning process as per your instructions Steve99.....Helps a lot.

Thanks again for all your input.
Pax
