I don't want to be a prick, but I doubt those will an improvement over the factory setup. Needle valves that are precise enough and repeatable enough for a damper cost a lot of money to make. A needle valve that can give 32 distinct damping rates, repeatably, would cost about what that whole set sells for. Good camber plates with bearings that wont rattle are expensive. Good damping takes R&D and good assemblers, again, not cheap. Most of those low end coilover systems are marketing hype.
You would probably be better off with something like Swift springs and Bilstein B6 shocks. It wouldn't take much to paint the Bilstein's red and the Swift springs are already red. |

4 track days a year, tons of spirited driving (anychance I get really.)
Looking at my goals everything point to a good spring and shock setup. I want better performance (less roll and bounce mostly) with a minimal (15mmish) drop at best. These days I don't care so much about adjustment as long as I like them and they do what I want. I ran 8k/10k coils in my last DD FWIW. These days I'd describe what I want out of my suspension as a factory/clubsport track setup. The only reason I'm looking at coils is because it seems I won't be able to fit 9.5" wide wheel upfront (with meaty 255-265 tires) on my car without rubbing and it effecting drivability. Currently leaning towards the billstein b14/16 setup. Anyone have any comments before I whip out the plastic?

T0 would likely do better for the track days, without giving up too much comfort for the daily grind. |
