Road trip to The falls then Toronto

Hey guys, gonna go on a mini road trip with my girl in the Brz.
Leaving tonite after work, should be passing thru the border right after midnight then staying in Montreal at the falls for a night.
Tomorrow we're gonna chill in Montreal for most of the day before heading to Toronto that night.
Friday we are thinking of spending the day at Wonderland. I used to go there as a kid and thought it would be fun to bring my girl there.
Friday night and Saturday we really don't have anything planned.

Can you guys make some suggestions on what to check out while we're up there?
Also what's the best places to get poutine?

Thanks!

@Kotu100 get Poutine in MTL, not Toronto

But if you must, you can try some wacky poutines at Smoke's Poutinery(?)

If you want some yummy japanese street food while in Toronto downtown, check this place out for sure! Super cheap, 7.25 per box and it's very filling.

https://www.facebook.com/gushitoronto

They are a seasonal business, so they stop selling at the end of this month.

Also, you can park beside there booth on the street and eat outside at the tablets which is convenient for us drivers

When your in wonderland, the food is stupid expensive so your better off walking out to get lunch etc.....if you like Vietnamese food or wanting to try something different, there is an amazing pho place across wonderland near the dealerships. It's a family run business which is clean and yummy

It's called

Pho Vaughan and has a orange sign

Also, after wonderland, if your heading back to Toronto and not tired, you guys can take young st all the way down to toronto. That way you see north york and all those nice sky scrapers etc...overall young st is a beautiful road to take down to toronto instead of the highway. However your looking at like a 1 hour drive.

***Also, my recommendation, once you get near the core of downtown Toronto , i recommend to stay on the west side of young. The east side gets very sketchy fast and has a lot of mental ill people or just homeless people or druggies etc cause they have those special services for them there.

Plus, if you like korean food, there is a lot of korean places in north york between young/finch and young/sheppard

By the way, let me know if you need another other food help, i know a good cheap chinese place that is clean and yummy in richmond hill. And let me know if you need recommendations with parking in Toronto because i can let you know where the cheap parking is unless your leaving the car at the hotel and walking.

Oh, one more recommendation, in downtown Toronto there is this place called Korean BBQ, super good! They have decent prices during the day for all you can eat, however they have this thing called "Night Owl" special which starts from 11 or 11:30pm and it's super cheap...like $10-11 all you can eat. Very good place also. Maybe after wonderland you can go there to eat if you will head back to downtown toronto.

2nded - go to "La Banquise" in Montreal. All the locals will tell you to go there and it's open 24 hours.

I've used it in the middle of the night. DON'T JUDGE.

Spend the sunset in and around the Town of Jordan near the falls. There are vineyards and literally rows of trees which may be slightly changing colours. The town has twisties at a somewhat decent speed so you can have fun while your girl admires the scenery.

If you have a full day extra, try to make your way up North if possible to go through Algonquin park (extra 3.5 hrs to your trip). Algonquin will be in its final leg of the color changes and it will be FANTASTIC up there.

If you're in search of twisties while up there, go to the Petroglyphs park area but drive on Northeyes Road. 5km of TWISTIES.

https://www.google.ca/maps/dir/Montr...d43.653226!3e0

This will add a good 3-4 hours to your trip.

If you're into craft beer at all, buy it in Montreal. The choices they have there kick the shit out of anything Ontario has to offer, in terms of quality and selection. The last time I was in Montreal, I spent about 260 on 24 beer.

Another good place to check out if you want a really good meal and some good beer, is the Amsterdam brewery. It's right on the water, and like a 15 minute walk (if that) to the CN Tower/Skydome/Ripley's Aquarium.

I completely forgot about a staple in Montreal:

SCHWARTZ's smoked meat. Get it with the cherry soda. I hate that soda by itself but it actually works with the smoked meat sandwich.

If you do park in downtown Toronto, try and use this site to find garage parking (instead off really sketchy lots):

http://parking.greenp.com/find-parking/

There's also an app where you can pay for it up front too.

Thanks for all the tips guys!
Will definitely check out La Banquise, I'll be getting there after midnight so that's perfect that it's open 24hrs.
Schwartz sound good for lunch before we leave for wonderland lol.

That Korean Bbq place sounds amazing, I've been looking for one around here for a while.

I'm not a big fan of pho but if you can recommend any good ramen places I love me some tasty pork ramen.

I'm not staying in Toronto but rather a couple miles from Wonderland, we are planning on going into Toronto that night though so I will make sure to check out some of those places. I'll be sure to steer clear of that circled area, last thing I want is something to happen to the berz in canadaland.

How are the vape shops up there? I'm still contemplating bringing my vape and some juice to use while I'm there or just getting a cheap setup once I cross the border.

Thanks again for all the tips and places to go! Can't wait to get on the road.
