MKIII Supra clutch type LSD? - Page 2 - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

I have been doing lots of fiddling with BRZ/Lexus/Toyota differential components so I decided to give it a go a order a used MK3 Supra LSD. I found one for $150 on eBay, I also ordered a Weir #1 Upgrade Spring. So I'm in this for $200, I will be installing this in one of my spare diffs and giving it a try.

While on the phone with Weir he was nice enough to walk me through these LSD's and what I should expect. It seems the factory set these very loose for NVH reasons and this has given them a bad rep as far as actually LSD performance. His upgrade spring is a straight forward way to cure this.

I wish you would have posted that you were going to do some testing, i have 3 of these lsd's in storage lol.
If you didn't already order the one from ebay i'll sell you one cheap cheap for purposes of testing.

Did you ever post that on my Instagram? I remember someone said they had a bunch but I couldn't find who, bummer.

Well now if it works out good you've got a source for a couple more lol.
