I may just replace it with a known good unit (Eonon or similar) until the new firmware is out and then decide which to keep and which to sell.
Torque dose not currently work on the new units either. Honestly, the DashlinqCT is a huge disappointment and it makes me wish I had a got a Dashlinq4 before the new one came out.
Torque works fine. Buy one of these:

And plug it in. I used it for torque until I found dashcommad (much better IMO)

The new CT does have its learning curves but I am in love with mine. The only thing I dont like is the audio quality sucks IMO.

I've never used dashcommand, what do you like about over torque?

That's the one I have. Will at Ca-Fi has confessed that the issues I am having are "known issues" with the version of firmware they put on my unit. He tells me that the "engineering department" is working a fix. and it should be ready within a week but would not commit to a date.

Hi Bros,

I am going to install new Dashlinq CT to my Subaru, which has OEM SWC with 3 wires.
According to dashlinqCT main wiring harness diagram, the OEM SWC-1 wire will connect to pin-4 on DashlinqCT, so where do I connect SWC-2 to Dashlinq?
I found on new Dashlinq CT has addition wiring harness (as see in picture) that has a wire marked as SWC 2, is it ok to connect the SWC-2 (from OEM SWC) to this wire (SWC 2) on Dashlinq?
Please advise,

DashlinqCT main wiring harness:

DashlinqCT addition wiring harness:

Thanks,
TommyGT

You may need an adapter.

What is the model number on your Forester's factory HU? (you'll find one printed on the front).

Try this -- connect:

* Dashlinq CT's SWC1 input lead to Forester's SWC1+

* Dashlinq CT's SWC2 input lead to Forester's SWC2+

* Dashlinq CT's extra ground lead (on same harness with their SWC2 input lead) to Forester's SWC(-) / common lead

You'll need to find the menu on the Dashlinq CT to "learn" your cars SWC buttons.

The Forester's SWC wires are either on the 20-pin power/speaker harness (on 2014 models without OEM nav), or on the 28-pin mic/aux harness (on models with OEM nav). I can supply a harness for either of those, so you won't have to hack into the factory wires. For details, see my web site and/or send me your e-mail.

Hi David,

Thanks for the reply, my Subaru is Forester 2014 and the HU model is Harman Kardon without Nav, I have ordered the wiring harness from you (20 pin + 16 pin for amp control wire) and waiting for delivery.
As information from previous Dashlinq4 model owners, I'll need to add a resistor (1.2k ohm) to combine my car's 2 SWC signal wires into the single input wire, but in Dashlinq CT there is SWC 2 wire that I am confusing if it's designed for SWC 2 or for other purpose (i.e CAN Bus). In fact I have raise the question to Ca-fi (Dashlinq manufacturer) but no response from them (poor service).
If any Bros have successful installing Dashlinq CT with Subaru OEM SWC (3 wires harness), please feel free to share your experiences.

Thanks in advance,
TommyGT

Hi guys,

I just had a Dashlinq4 installed onto my '14 FR-S, and we spliced the orange wire(SWC?) from pin #8 onto the blue wire labeled AMP and connected the wire into pin #9 to get the door speakers working. Now the door speakers only works for radio, ipod app, bluetooth, and USB. It still doesn't work for the AUX. Is there anyone else that experienced the same issue and/or know a fix for it?

Do you get sound from AUX on the other speakers, or not at all?

I was getting sound from AUX on an older iPod nano on other speakers just fine, but the door speakers are not working exclusively on AUX mode.
