My girlfriend has been a devout Apple Fangirl since the iPhone 3G. Choosing phones based on looks, she backed the Kickstarter project Nextbit Robin. We'll see how this goes..

Dunno if you care about fingerprint reader and a couple more small features. Looks like hardware-wise, its pretty stable.

Fingerprint scanner isn't that big of a tradeoff but laser autofocus might be. I'll probably just stick with Oxygen until I either hate it, or CM updates with more hardware support.

Basically 2 weeks from order date.
My buddy ordered his on the 2nd or 3rd and his came on the 11th. Apparently they're expediting early orders because of the 2-3 week rollout delay so most people are getting them in a week-ish, despite coming direct from China. Strange that yours is taking longer, even though you ordered at launch. Did you order a StyleSwap cover? Maybe orders with StyleSwaps take longer to fulfill.

There's some sort of issue with the 9/1 and 9/2 orders and they aren't giving anyone a straight answer as to why orders placed after are being fulfilled before those orders.
My order was the phone and screen protector, but other orders of just the phone are in the same boat.
At least I have a tracking number now.

I'm still rocking my Note 4 currently. I'm itching to buy a new phone but nothing has really caught my eye lately. Waiting on these 2 new Nexus phones to be revealed, but if the leaks are true, I probably wont care for them either.

Really wish someone would crack the bootloader for the AT&T Note 4 so I can root this damn thing. Not looking like its going to happen though.

New phone arrived today! It will take time to get adjusted to the size. More than happy with it after about 4 hours of adjusting settings, sample pics, etc.

New phone vs old phone lol

Congrats. Please post your thoughts. I am thinking of moving away from my current LG G3 and grabbing either a Nexus 6 or a new Moto X Pure.

Same with jflogerzi, I've been on Sprint for years, but I've recently moved to a city where Sprint has ZERO service. I roam 24/7 here, and I need to switch to Verizon soon. I'm looking at the Moto X Pure, but I might wait for the next Nexus (probably Huawei) if I can hold out that long. Let me know your thoughts on the Pure when you get a chance

Thanks! I can't give an opinion on the Nexus 6 because I haven't done any research on it, but the Moto XPE has surpassed my expectations so far. I am not a poweruser so won't be doing any hardcore gaming, running emulators, multi-tasking, etc. So 3 gigs of RAM and 808 snapdragon is more than enough. No stutter while switching between apps.

No sim card so can't test call quality or LTE speeds yet. Camera *may* not be as good as the top dogs (iphone 6, galaxy s6) but still very satisfied. Pics below! 3rd party tester ranked Moto XPE as 3rd behind s6 and Note 4. http://www.dxomark.com/Mobiles/Moto-...stance/Ranking

Battery wise, haven't done any real world tests to see how long it lasts. Comes with turbocharger- 0 to 50% in 10 minutes!

All in all, I wanted a new phone that would last me for the next 4-5 years. Got what I wished for at a $399 base price point. 16 gigs of internal storage with 128 gig expandable memory support + decent phone camera + stock Android + unlocked on all radio bands for all major US carriers. Cannot complain at all!

Looks like facebook didn't compress the photos too much. Enjoy.

Apologies for double post, editing above post seems to have "broken" things...

One last thought. I sort of compare the phone upgrade to when I bought the FRS.

Switching from my old 2000 Corolla to the FRS: Got something that is more than suitable for my needs/wants, faster, sexy, enjoyable to daily with occasional spirited runs. If I wanted something more, I would've bought a Cayman. That would have broken my bank however.

Maybe not the closest analogy but the best my non-imaginative mind could come up with. lol

I currently have an HTC One M8, had an iPhone 5 prior to that but just wanted to change things up as i was getting sick of iOS (had every iPhone albeit without a sim card until the 5 to use as an iPod touch lol not to mention my actual iPod touch that i had got in 08)

iPhone is great but imo jailbreaking them is what really makes them useful although not many features to add via jb'ing now haven't kept up.

Really love my M8 would have upgraded to the M9 but this year's release of phones just didn't seem to be worth the money to switch from the M8 and that includes the S6's.

As far as battery life goes for the S6 Edge for those that are wondering...had a friend who got the edge and he says it lasts him the most of the day although quick charge does help and he usually has a portable power pack with him as he does use it quite frequently for work.

Man this is such an awesome phone and so tempting to me for the pretty much Vanilla Android. I just cant get away from Samsungs screen and camera. If only they would ditch touchwiz....
