I highly suggest that if you guys want to get to the track more often, attend on of the many solid track schools we have in the GTA.

I've been to Ian Law's Track school and it was phenomenal. I'm planning to go to some of the other ones but that might be overkill.

It's amazing what someone who knows their stuff (he still races, 75% of the other instructors also race) can tell you from the passenger seat.

Dango1 - should ask your wife if she wants to go and drive this time, my wife will be instructing so chances are the two would be paired up, assuming you can find somebody to take care of the kids that day.

Was at Cayuga yesterday, saw two more twins, a stock (looking) WRB BRZ and an ultramarine FRS. Anyone from here?

Well make that four that were there, missed another silver one.

Last JRP event of the year, it was pretty busy especially in the beginner group, a lot more busier than past events probably because everybody wanted to get in another track day for 2015. Some issues throughout the day which caused some session to run short, and drivers forgetting about cold tires in the morning.

Nevertheless, had a good time, improved my times throughout the day and setting my personal best for the year in the last session.

One more lapping day at Ian Law's event at DDT this weekend (Oct 10th)!

Hope the rain stays away, I have a hard time with the top up and in a helmet.

Saturday DDT - ONE MOAR SLEEP!

You must be thinking of the Touge.ca event - I am refusing to go to those events now. Reason? Safety.

While no one has gotten killed so far, they allow more stupidity on the track than I'd like. The fact that they allow folks to get on the track without a helmet already freaks me out. Also, from what I hear (I've only been to one event), there is always someone that gets severely damaged or something that holds up the day. It happened on my day there (not me).

Oooo, looked at the details between my best lap time versus my wife's from the JRP event this past Oct 1. I definitely do 7-8 completely different than her, need to fix that entry speed, a little more quicker downshift and take it up to redline on the backstraight... should be enough get that gap to zero, well, at least that day.
