Track day check-in
 

Not sure if we have one already, but maybe we can post up when we're going to track days so that FT86ers can potentially meet at the track, share tools and advice etc?

Looks like there's quite a few of us in southern Ontario (sorry RoC).

I was at CTMP yesterday for a touge.ca track day and saw a number of FT86s (gave point-bys to two, got one back in return).

It'd be nice to meet some of y'all at the track!

I was thinking about posting my groups track events on the social thread, it's stickied and lots of people reply to it.

Have to admit I have seen a bunch at several track days, but I am not always the most forward! so if you see my wrb brz (plates B8R6Z) at any events feels free to say hi!

There were two WRB BRZ's at CTMP/Mosport Grand Prix track at today's JRP. Apologize in advance, I already forgot the guy's name.

Come out to an SPDA day, you'll meet lots of FRS/BRZ drivers! There's one Sept 26th on the DDT, might be one or two spots open still.

Can we get a stickied trackday thread? The general one is a bit too busy to always be checking.

Bunch of us looking to go next wednesday to Cayuga. I was about to go today but apparently its my anniversay

Corey Austin and myself will be out at CSCS finale sept 20 at TMP, Corey driving for Red Hill Scion and myself representing Guelph Scion, As well as derrick covering the brz side of things. Should be an awesome day come on out and show some support and feel free to stop by weve always got a cooler full of cold water and love meeting new people!

It's not a full list as I see that the recent JRP and BMW event at Mosport GP not in this list.

26th or 20th? or are you saying SPDA is running lapping along side the shootout?

Why not have an anniversary at the track?

(I brought my wife twice so far, and she's loved it both times - in fact she's encouraging me to join driving school once I'm out of B-school)

First time I took her to a track day she was out on track for 3 of 4 HOURS (!!!!) of the event. Now she's not so interested anymore and bringing the kid keeps me stuck getting lapped in the beginner group. :bonk:

But a thread not just listing tracks days but having people "check in" so we know who's going would make it less scary walking up to someone new at an event (or easier to plan going to more 86 attended events).

I meant the 20th, but the 26th has now been added alongside the OTA shootout.

Not sure I can do both.. might be all ddt'd out by then! we'll see...
