not really on topic, but how can LED lights cause a whole car to burn down? I find that really stretching it.

1: Flammable substances + sparks from LED due to excess amounts of voltage = big boom
2: Led can cause ECU failures etc = no working car
3: Led can burn through the housing due to heat.

Think of it this way, anything that's electrical can cause a fire. Over time water and other substances can get into the LED connections which usually lead to blown led. In rare cases you can get sparks or a small fire.
