I think i'm going to get a 2012 or 2013 IS350 with the fsport package, can anyone tell me what the FSport package includes (on the 2nd generation IS, not the 3rd) because I'm having a hard time locating a 2nd gen 350 with the f package

My mother is just waiting for the next generation convertible to come out. When the IS is paid off, she's going to buy the vert for the weekend. By that point, I should be in my C7, and probably dailying a cheap used LS.

How did you like your second generation IS350 (2011) the 2nd gen with the fsport package is RIGHT in my budget line

No regrets here. The seating position and handling make it the sportiest sedan I've ever driven (that includes 335i, s4, and q50). Make sure you drive the car in Sport+ mode, it goes from a quiet camry to a properly tuned sports car.

Only downside is that no one can tuned the lexus ECU. So the aftermarket and tuning option is very limited. Stillen, however are coming out with a supercharger kit.

If you are looking for something more powerful, i would look into 335i or s4. but both are roughly $10k more with same option.

Avoid 335i at all costs. Most unreliable piece of crap.

The IS200 will have a 240hp turbo engine and there will also be an IS300 (it's back!!!) and IS350 model. Finally, after a decade they've gotten rid of that anemic 2.5 liter V6. I'm highly considering picking up an IS200 in the next year or so now...It has a base price of $38,000 though. Seems a bit steep.

Base price has really climbed. I remember when you could get the IS250 in the low $30k range.

Base price is way too high when all the competitors are scraping $30k to start and $35k with awd.

Also looks like that turbo 4 is going to be in a ton of Lexus's very soon.
