It doesnt sound like much but but 10 percent more power in a light car is a big difference.

For comparisons sake

My BRZ(tq300):
2700 pounds / 225whp - 12 pounds per HP

My Sti
3400 pounds / 270whp - 12.59 pounds per HP

My Wrx
3250 pounds / 250whp - 13 pounds per HP

My Rx8
3050 pounds / 175 whp - 17.42 pounds per HP

Gti stage 1
3160 pounds / ~230whp? - 13.7 pounds per HP

Buggati Veyron SS
4040 pounds / 1200hp - 3.3 pounds per HP
@fenton, just wanted to say thanks for this post. The thread needed this kind of first hand info presented in just this way. I know it's a simple thing, but I don't think it's been done yet.

Very interesting indeed, as I did similar calculations when I had the kit. There are other variables that are important as well though such as torque to hp ratio, power band, gearing, awd/rwd/fwd, ability to hookup ect. All of these are important to consider especially when coming from a stop and or drag racing.

Hair styles and car tunes

It struck me while listening to a comedian. My latest EconoSport tune is like a hair style. It's like a Mullet cut. All business up front, and all about the party in back. It's tight and economical on the front side up to about .60 load, and progressively wilder on the back side up to 1.40 load. Here's a pic of the Exhaust AVCS tuning for it.

It's all well and good to compare different cars, but you can have identical cars and one will run great while the other is a dog if their tuning is only 2 degrees off. Our cars have different tuning between model years. That means it's just as important how the car is tuned, as what it's made of. This is one of the reasons I value the OFT so highly. It is open source, so we can share tunes, work with others to learn how to tune, and develop the best tunes. Together we can learn more than any one tuner can by themselves.

Pretty much follow my instructions for the procede install from my video for the wires to tap.

For the switch tap Rob will probably know best.

If you load my tune or kools tune for the procede you need to switch the analog fuel channel to 3. Per a post a little ways back.

Other then that you should be good.

On behalf of those of us on the list... THANKS! This is where I hoped this thing was going! There is huge potential in the ESC + Procede combination and watching progress from the small community developing it is intriguing.
