We have data to show that 100 octane on a completely stock factory OEM BRZ/FRS yielded 6hp better than 91 octane doing back to back baselines. Please contact us if you have any other questions regarding the ACE headers.

These numbers are approximated off percentages of the 350 when we did a stock dyno run with OEM frontpipe
The numbers are for N/A. What about for supercharged applications?

Yes you will get around that gain with a completly stock car switching from 91 or other low octane fuels to a fuel with at least the octane rating the stock tune was designed for.

Reason is the stock tune needs at least 93 or equlivant octane to run full timing and have the IAM at 1. On lower octane fuels the ecu detects knock and reduces timing to limit knock resulting in an IAM arround 0.6 on 91 fuel in untujed cars

below is a log of a south africain stock 86 on their rubbish 95 ron fuel which is worse than usa 91.

IAM is 0.2 and its still pulling 3 degrees timing when you get on throttle total timing reduction probably 5 or 6 degrees,

Put good fuel in your car even stock and it will perform better

ACE Header (CSG) Counter Space Garage

Received 2nd ACE 4:2:1 header....1st arrived after initial offering with tight 02 sensor fitting clearance....David at CSG (Counter Space Garage) was able to get 2nd header sent out....told that subequent headers will not have this problem....DIY only trick is lifting engine to get overpipe clearance....the fitting are all spot on
Really a piece of art....welds are unbelieveable.
No dyno data.
again shout out to David at CSG (ACE Headers)
Really pleased with service from David CSG
somehow unable to loade images will forward to see if can be inserted

Dynapack Dyno:
(no stock baseline stock 86 on this dyno yet, but the tuners tuned JDL UEL made 164 whp)
ACE 169 whp 91
ACE 187 whp E85

Virtual Dyno:
155-160 whp bone stock right before dyno tuning
217-223 whp after tuning session.

Dayum! That's some high quality Taiwanese made shit, right there!

What are all the mods you did aside from the headers to get to 220WHP?

Ace 4-2-1 Header

I wonder if the unique ACE header design would lend itself to making more power above 7000 rpm with some aggressive cams. All the combinations of tunes and bolt ons seem to max out at around 200 whp at 7000 rpm or thereabouts. Even the new piper cams in another thread increased power, but it still came in at 7000rpm with a traditional EL header design. 100 whp/liter @ 7000 rpm peak is very efficient, just need to move that powerband!

You just feel that there is a NA secret waiting to be unlocked with these cars!
