When I do look into coilovers it will be very hard for to look past Fortune Auto. Everything I've seen from them and about them is great.
I guess if it is a trailer queen show car then it doesn't matter how cheap they are. |

If you want to hear from someone who has actually had experience with this brand, not just here say. I had them on a civic. Only reason I was running them was because the car I got had them on already. I know for a fact that they are not meant to go low because the struts gave out after three months being on the lowest height. I highly doubt they match the spring rates to the amount of dampening the struts give. After I pulled them off the car, they actually did not look bad or cheaply made. I have had Ebay no-name coil overs before, and the Racelands are aesthetically better looking. Looks can be deceiving though. I think they are for people on a budget that want a mild drop, but arnt looking for any performance gain. In the case of the FRS I highly highly highly doubt these will handle better then the stock suspension. They do come with the adjustable sway bar links though, which is good. You are better off buying Eibach drop springs.

No, no, no, no, NO!!!! I purchased an NA Miata to use as a track day/hillclimb car and it unfortunately came with Raceland Ultimo's. The Racelands on it had never been driven on and where brand new. They are horribly under dampened, especially in the rear, and the spring rates are beyond wrong. Because of this the car is prone to snap oversteer, making it slow on an autocross course and IMO to dangerous to use on a hillclimb. I took it for a couple of laps around Canaan Motor Speedway which is a brand new road course that was just paved this spring and even with the new mirror smooth pavement the Racelands still had issues coping, causing sudden oversteer that was more annoying than anything.
As for road manners, they creak, they have a jarring ride, and if the road is bad enough the rear bounces like the dampeners are blown. All this trouble mind you are at 12.5" front and 13" rear fender to hub distance, that's a pretty conservative ride height for an NA Miata. When I first got the car it was significantly lower, allowing it to bottom out constantly making the car virtually unbearable to drive and border line unsafe. I've owned and driven many different cars on many different suspension setups and I can safely say that this is by far the worst setup I have ever encountered. Do not ruin your car by buying these because that is exactly what you'll be doing. |

Bad coilover is worse than the stock suspension. You might as well just get the firmer springs and have a better suspension setup yourself. Don't get those raceland craps

I had them on my xB for a few years and they did their job. No problems, but it was meant to be a low and slow cruiser, but I wouldn't put them on the car if you plan on being spirited with the car

I had their standard coilovers on my B5 Passat in Germany, and did 5 laps of the Nordschleife with no problem.
But I bought Ultimos for my MKV GTI and the rear struts didn't even last 2 months, so I replaced them with Koni Yellows.
