Raceland coilovers

In case you guys didn't know, raceland came out with coilovers for our FR-S.
If anyone has any experience with these please comment below. We would love your feedback.

No comment... The first thing that comes to mind is the skull and crossbones (instant death)

I've seen some pretty bad reviews on their product but I was wondering if anyone had a review for them specifically for our car. I guess you get what you pay for

If anyone wants inexpensive coilovers then save a bit more and invest in Stance or Ksport.

do you really think they are going to be any different?

I've read some Honda guys review on these. They said they are worth what they paid for. They are sturdy so I think it eliminates the chances of the coilovers EXPLODING. Good for daily driving in my opinion but that should be it.

somehow this seems oxymoronic.

i bought ksports several years ago for a vw

had i burnt half the money and invested the other half in blackberry i'd be in better shape

These will be perfect for the hard-parkers as all they're worried about is having their car sit as low as possible on poorly fitted wheels and are not concerned about ride quality and/or performance. There is a thread on one of the miata forums where someone took the initiative to have the coilovers professionally tested (by machine) and found all four to have different valve dampening. The overall build quality looks (from what I've seen in person) to be what you'd expect from Chinabay. To me, this turns into a safety concern.

I keep being told the Racelands are now being made in the US, before in the UK.

Was also told quality was increased as well.

They are cheap, but tons seem happy for what they paid and others not. Racelands are hard to judge, only one way to find out if i was you.

Though its hard to believe any coilover review on this forum alone because its mostly someone with a vendor status telling you whats good and whats not. What good is what they have in stock too...

Hehe, if you catch my drift. ;)

They are made in China.

Just. Say. no.

lets just not spend 30k and then talk about racelands. on a $2000 miata or civic, you can almost make a case for it. not so much at this price point

I actually have these and I was decently surprised at how well they are for the price. I mean they're not great by any means, but for $500 they aren't bad. I definitely plan on upgrading very, very soon though.

I've had two sets and my buddy has had one. All blew out within a year.
