I've had my trd quick shifter sitting in a box for a few months have t had the time to install yet.

When working and all tight etc, how does it feel? I'm currently running a raceseng shift knob and that increased my shifting pleasure 100%.

Will the quick shifter increase the chance of a misshift?

did you guys tear the oem boot when removing it? Install looks fairly simple any tips?

Shifting feel is absolutely amazing on it. Never missed a single shift with it despite throws being so tight.

Admittedly the shifter kit comes loose a lot. I've taken mine in twice to have it retightened.

How can I make sure this doesn't happen again?

Is this bolt accessible from the shifter boot, or do you need to be underneath the car? Mine's come loose and I need to tighten it.

I did it from underneath. I'm not sure that you can even fit tools in from above.

I tightened the bolt. HOLY shitz it was loose. I'm surprised the bolt didn't fall out. Now I can shift like butter

That's plan B. I want to tighten it for now and see if it comes loose. When I had it installed, I guess they didn't tighten it very well, so I kinda took it at face value and assumed the play was normal. But now that I know it was actually loose, I'll see how long it stays tight. If not, yeah, I'm skipping to red loctite and not the blue stuff.

Vibratite works

I reinstalled the trd quick shifter mechanism with blue VibtaTite and it had help up for a month without any issues.
