Weird trunk noise

Hi guys

I bought a my2015 BRZ. I hear this sound coming from the trunk, but can't figure out what it is. Any ideas? Anyone know how to fix it?
It's driving me crazy...

Try this. Only takes a few seconds so you may as well try it before any thing more difficult

WOW thanks mate, I'll try it out! So you just bent it slightly and rattle's gone? ( like your second picture in the link of your topic )

Yep, and is a buzzing type rattle like yours. I lay in the trunk and knocked on the rear deck and rattled like yours. Bent that tab and has never come back. Hopefully will work for you but of course could be something else.

I hope it works.. I think going to the dealers will only be a waste of time.. anyway I'll try this in a couple of hours and let you know. Thanks again mate

Solved just hit my rear deck twice with a soft punch.. and the noise stopped!

Excellent but likely to come back then. Did you try bending that metal tab? If it disappears with a tap that's what it is likely to be.

Yes I tried but it didn't work.. It was like the rear deck floor wasn't assembled correctly, so I tried to make pressure and punch it down to the metal part.. amd it worked

Thanks for the link mine just started a couple days ago and I checked your post, worked like a charm only took a sec and no more rattle
