The threaded portion for the top nut is what is stripped. It does not look to be fixable. However, I was able to get everything torqued down correctly after I took these off his car. So now it is basically a brand new working coilover setup, with the OEM top hats, making it a direct swap.

The place it threads into is stripped, you would only need to if you were to replace the tophats anyways. I'd leave it to buyers to determine if it can be since I haven't needed to try after switching to a diff set with adjustable dampening/camber - although it is $1100 + taxes new and my sale price is less than 3/4ths so worst case scenario only one coilover will need to be serviced if needed to and the $500 savings more than offsets that.

Keep in mind that having anyone or a shop install them will make it generally cheaper as well due to less work swapping oem top hats into these AND you can leave your oem struts assembled as backup.
